Students from Oak House School Barcelona are the winners of the 2016 Generation €uro Students' Award

The 5th Generation €uro Students' Award edition has reached the final stage. With 8,000 students registered in round 1, 260 assignments submitted in round 2 and 60 teams selected for the final round, this edition has been a success.

On 12 and 13 April students from six euro area countries took part in the European and International Schools Final at the ECB, in Frankfurt am Main. During the two days they presented their ideas on monetary policy to a jury formed by ECB experts.

The winning team for the competition organised by the ECB for European, international schools and national schools abroad is Euro Oaks from Oak House School (Barcelona, Spain). They impressed the jury with their strong motivation, creative thinking, enthusiasm and knowledge. For their achievements they will have the opportunity to meet the ECB President, Mario Draghi, and be congratulated by Executive Board Member Benoît Cœuré during the European Award Event that will take place on 20 and 21 April at the ECB.
