President Draghi answers questions from winners at the European Award Event - tune in on 11 April!
The 7th edition of the Generation €uro Students’ Award competition is coming to a close. On 10 and 11 April the winning team of the ECB’s competition (aimed at international and European schools) and the winners of the national competitions – held in Germany, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia and Finland – will visit the ECB. Besides receiving their awards, the students will have the opportunity to address questions to President Draghi during a special session on 11 April.
This year 1,611 teams from all over Europe, each comprising up to five students, registered for the contest – 211 of the teams entered the ECB’s competition run for international and European schools. The jury, made up of ECB experts, had a difficult task as the entries showcased plenty of original and creative ideas. Out of all the entrants, the team “The invisible hand” from St George's International School, Luxembourg was selected as a winner.
