The 12th edition will be launched at an information session (in person or online) on Friday 18 October from 14:30 to 16:00 at the BCL.

After the launch, registered teams will be able to take part in the first round, an online quiz with 30 questions that will be available until 18:00 on the 17 November 2024 on the competition site.
The highest-scoring teams at the end of the quiz will qualify for the second round, in which the teams have until 18:00 on the 25 January 2025 to propose a monetary policy decision in writing based on economic, monetary and financial analysis of the euro area.
The top three teams from the second round will be called for the final in March 2025 (exact date to be confirmed), where they will have to explain to a jury of BCL experts the reasons for their proposed monetary policy decision.
The winning team will be invited to participate to a study trip to Frankfurt including visits of the European Central Bank and other institutions.
