The 11th edition will be launched at an information session (in person or online) on Thursday 26th October from 14:00 to 15:30 at the BCL. To register for the information session, contact email@example.com.
After the launch, registered teams will be able to take part in the first round, an online quiz with 30 questions that will be available until 18:00 on the 26th November 2023 on the competition site.
The highest-scoring teams at the end of the quiz will qualify for the second round, in which the teams have until 18:00 on the 6th March 2024 to propose a monetary policy decision in writing based on economic, monetary and financial analysis of the euro area.
The top three teams from the second round will be called for the final in April 2024 (exact date to be confirmed), where they will have to explain to a jury of BCL experts the reasons for their proposed monetary policy decision.
The winning team gets to meet President Lagarde at the ECB in Frankfurt.
